Our portfolio is a development pipeline. Nothing in it is operational, and every phase carries the stage it has actually reached.

Phase 1

FOAK Andalusia

FOAK Andalusia

In development

Near Seville, Spain · First-of-a-kind

Methanol output
2,000 tpa
Electrolyser
6.0 MW
PV array
15 MW
Unit scale
10-20 MW
Irradiation
~1,800 kWh/kWp
Grid connection
None required

Technology

Off-grid photovoltaics (15 MW), battery (7.5 MWh), electrolysis (6.0 MW), Direct Air Capture (3,200 tpa CO₂) and methanol synthesis (2,000 tpa) integrated in one standardised unit.

Timeline and offtake

Construction targeted 2027-2028; commissioning and first methanol targeted Q1 2029. Phase 1 output is intended for distributors and blend-in buyers while institutional offtake is negotiated against pooled Phase 2 and 3 volume.

Pipeline

Phase 2 · 2028-29

Four units

Process optimisation across replicated units and the first pooled offtake volume.

Planned

Phase 3 · 2029-30

Sixteen units · 100 MW+ total

Hub scale, with institutional offtake contracted against pooled volume.

Target

Critical path Permitting sits on the critical path. Our phase dates assume permitting runs in parallel with supplier contracting from early 2027.
